Holmesdale put in a solid performance to secure a 3-1 win over a Dagenham and Redbridge XI at Oakley Road.

The first goal came late in the first half after a number of previous missed chances.

The Dalers went on to score a further two second half goals before Dagenham pulled one back just before the final whistle.

Holmesdale's next outing is against Merstham on Saturday afternoon at Langley Sports and Social Club, Beckenham. Kick-off at 2:00PM

Change Of Venue

Saturday's double header against Ryman Side Merstham has been moved to Langley Sports and Social Club, Hawksbrook Lane, Beckenham while final work is undertaken on the pitch at Oakley Road.

Holmesdale's First XI will be kicking off at 2:00PM followed by the Reserves at 4:00PM.

Second Win For Holmesdale

The Daler's secured a 3-1 win today as they took on Westfield in East Sussex.

The next fixture sees a Holmesdale XI take on a Dagenham and Redbridge XI this coming Tuesday evening at Oakley Road.

New Line-Up Takes Shape

The 2009/2010 Holmesdale side begins to take shape with a number of players resigning for the club as well as a few new faces joining the side.

Captain John Maloney, Frank Bunani, James Dadson, Paul Springett, Jason Thompson, Daniel Harwood, Paul Semakula, Mark Axell, Steve Strotten, Russell Bedford, Chris Hatt, Jack Highwood, and Casey Jones have all resigned for the new campaign.

New faces include Keeper Dean Rose who has signed from Whyteleaf, Former Beckenham stopper Michael Holder, Robert Bartley and Michael Boakye.

More detals will be announced shortly.

League Fixtures Announced

The fixtures for the 2009/2010 season have been announced and Holmesdale will entertain Lordswood at Oakley Road in the first match of the season.

This fixture will be followed by a trip to Hartley Whitney for the FA Cup on Saturday 15th August.

Holmesdale then travel to Faversham Town for their second league fixture on Saturday 22nd.

Harwood On Road To Recovery

Danny Harwood has his second assessment today following his recent surgery on the injury sustained at the end of last season.

Holmesdale won their first game of the new season with a 3-2 victory over Thamemead Town which was played out at Goals in Beckenham.

Cray Wanderers beat Holmesdale 1-4 today as Holmesdale played their second friendly match of the new season.

Holmesdale Preseason commences

Holmesdale took to the field today for the first fixture of their 2009/2010 preseason against Ryman side Chipstead FC.

Chipstead won the tie 0-6.

Holmesdale have been drawn away to Combined Counties League Premier Division Side Hartley Wintney in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round which will be played on Saturday 15th August.

FA Vase - Feltham Away

The Daler's received an away draw against Combined Counties side Feltham in the First Qualifying Round of the 2009/2010 FA Vase.

Feltham finished last season in 7th place in Division One so this will be a tough away tie which will be played on Sunday 6th September at 3:00PM.
