1st leg win for First XI
Saturday 25th October 2008Holmesdale will carry a two goal advantage into their second leg game following a win over Deal Town at Oakley Road. Goals came from Matt Stares and Joel Hughes. The second leg takes place next weekend at Deal Town.

Tuesday 22 October 2008After going behind to a White goal after 17 minutes Holmesdale responded with a goal from Thompson 19 minutes later. After that neither side was able to break the deadlock in the local derby.

Holmesdale victorious in Umbro Kent Senior Trophy
Saturday 11 October 2008Holmesdale faced an extremely tough first round opponent in this seasons Kent Senior Trophy. The visitors, to a buoyant Oakley Road, were Hythe Town who are currently second in the league to the Dalers. Even allowing for what has been a tremendous start to the 08/09 campaign there was no doubt that this was as tricky a first round tie as the draw could have produced.
